
Beginning Genealogy for German Heritage
May 10 - July 12
Join us for a three-part, hands-on class on beginning your genealogy. This class is open to all, but is specifically designed for those just beginning their genealogical journey who have German ancestors. This class is held in conjunction with the German American Society of Portland (GASP).
All sessions are in-person and held at the German American Society of Portland, 5626 NE Alameda St., Portland, OR 97213.

Each session consists of a 1.5-hour talk with an optional break for lunch.
What to Bring:
Participants should bring a notebook. You are also invited to bring any research or notes you have already made and a laptop computer for the hands-on portion. (Several databases can be used from your own laptop.)
