SLMC: The Spencer Leonard Manuscript Collection is a card file of information primarily on Civil War veterans (from any state) who lived in Oregon. The card file was created from several sources. Cards may also have been created for soldiers who visited the state, perhaps for a Grand Army of the Republic convention. Spencer Leonard donated his card file and notebooks to the GFO in 1971.

ASLF: Spencer Leonard did not identify the rank and unit of every soldier that he recorded. GFO member, Jim Rogers, used the Internet and GFO Library resources to create an Annotated Spencer Leonard File with more complete information.

SUVCW: Some members of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War are collecting the names and burial information of all Veterans who are buried in the state of Oregon. Information is shared between the SUVCW and the GFO.
