Indexes
The GFO exists to promote, educate, preserve, compile, and publish within the genealogical community.
GFO volunteers help to fulfill this mission by indexing records held by our library and records held by the Oregon State Vital Records Office. Indexing the key data on digital images and hand-written paper records creates searchable digital indexes which lead researchers to the original records. Genealogical research today would not be what it is without indexing.

I am so enjoying all the eBooks I am seeing... I was NOT expecting these great resources. I have about 8 I'm looking forward to reading.
I joined because Ralph Thonstad [facilitator of the GFO's AI in Genealogy Special Interest Group] does such a good job of keeping me up to date on AI and Genealogy.
