Abstract: The Tatum Collection is comprised of research done by Evelyn Tatum and focuses on the ancestors of her husband, Thomas M. Tatum (1925-2002). Most important in this collection is the wealth of correspondence about those family lines and the accompanying family group sheets. There is one file with photos, most labeled by name. Prominent surnames include Tatum, Edwards, Parker, Valentine, Brice, and Elkins. These families came from throughout the United States, but at some point, they all settled in Texas.
