Abstract: 

The Murray Collection contains the compiled research of Gary David Murray. The files are organized by surname. Most contain correspondence from fellow researchers, family group records, and ancestor charts or descendant reports. They also have research notes taken from various sources such as published record sets. There are copies of some birth, marriage, death, and naturalization records. In addition to a few photos scattered throughout the collection, Box 4 has three folders containing family snapshots, many labeled with names. Much of the research focuses on the maternal line. The most common surnames are Bonney, Hutchinson, Loudon, Mowat, Murray, and Shaw.
