The papers of Julie Kidd represent years of research on her direct and collateral lines. The papers include correspondence with family members, other researchers, and archives throughout the United States. The research notes have clear objectives and source citations. They are accompanied by copies or transcripts of birth, marriage, death, Bible, and land records. A few files contain family photos. There are pedigree charts, descendant and ancestor reports, and family group sheets to aid researchers. The most common surnames are Rather, Thompson, Wahl, Sutherland, Fry, Price, Spicer, Delong, Kidd, and Self. The most common locations are Oregon, Virginia, and Kentucky.
