Abstract:
The Jesuale Collection was loaned to the Genealogical Forum of Oregon so that it could be preserved and shared. The bulk of the collection is correspondence between members of the family, some dating back over 100 years. The collection focuses on Jane Jesuale's maternal ancestors who lived in Michigan. The primary surnames are Erbaugh and MacArthur (McArthur). Of particular interest is the set of narratives written by Jane that document her life. Also, the video interviews with her father, Cecil Erbaugh. There are also narratives about other members of her family that include copies of vital records and family memorabilia. There are genealogical references as well. The Erbaugh (Erbach) family is traced back to the early 1700s in Germany.
