Abstract: The Jacob Collection contains family history research compiled by Lois Winifred “Win” Jacob. The greatest strength of this collection is the correspondence, which not only trades family history and documents, but also reveals discrepancies and resolutions in lineage arguments. The collection also includes pedigree charts, family group sheets, copies of vital records, copies of Bible records, and research reports. Prominent surnames include Gray, Jackson, Hayes, Hill, Thomas, Berrian, Oldham, and Williams. There are groups of families from Massachusetts and Connecticut, and other groups from Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. More than one line ended up  in Oregon.
