Abstract: The papers included in the Brown Collection were part of a large donation of books that were given to the GFO in 2016. The bulk of that collection consists of baptismal and marriage records from Catholic churches dating from the 1600s to the 1900s and originating in Quebec and Ontario, Canada. The collection also includes correspondence (some in French) and notes that reflect Mr. Brown’s interest in personal and historical research.
