Abstract: The Brown family history papers contain a wealth of information gathered from many sources, much of it obtained through correspondence with other researchers and family members. Boxes 1-7 contain family group sheets organized by family lines. Box 10 contains copies and transcripts of a diary kept by Job Sayre Dixon (1822-1893) who lived in Salem County, New Jersey. Robert Brown did the transcription and created a name index for the diaries. The remainder of the boxes contain correspondence, research notes, copies of land, probate, and vital records, and a few photos.
