Westergaard Index to Oregon Deaths

Westergaard Index to Oregon Deaths

Westergaard Index to Oregon Deaths

This index covers the time period of 1881–1940. Jens Christensen Westergaard put this together from material he copied from Oregon death records and published in 1940. The original is in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, also on film#1321454 (items 2-4).

We tried to verify the material, but could not locate everything he used to create the index. There were also a number of errors in the names. Please use this index carefully, and only as a guide to further your research.

We do not have further information for this index to offer at the Forum.

As I think about all the people I've met, and from whom I've learned, it really is a big plus to be an active member at GFO.
