The service flag at Franklin High School, containing 52 stars, was unfurled last Wednesday morning at formal exercises at the school. The programme was in charge of the sophomores and Evalyn Hyland, a sophomore, made the flag. She is a student in the domestic art department. The flag was presented to the school, Ray Haizlip, president of the student body, receiving it for the institution. Warde Kearns made the presentation address.
