Abstract:

The Sibley Collection consists of correspondence, research notes, and reports compiled by Mary Jane Sibley. Much of the research focuses on her maternal lines. She also compiled descendant reports that traced the royal descents of various family lines tied to early British royalty. The most prominent surname found in the research was Southworth. Others include O’Bryon, Tower, Van Steenbergh. Most of these families had roots in New York and England.
