Abstract: The Sallee-Hill Collection is a compilation of personal family history research created by Helen Arlene Hill. It includes correspondence with family researchers and various archives. Primary sources include copies of birth, marriage, and death records, as well as photos of grave markers. The information has been organized by pedigree charts and descendant reports. The many family group records include source notations. There are also some biographical sketches and family photos included. The most common surnames are Beach, Cook, Henry, Hill, Hinkson, Sallee, Wheeler, and Whisman. The most common locations include Connecticut, Kentucky, Missouri, and Oregon.

It should be noted that throughout the collection, some correspondence is addressed to Helen and some to Arlene. She explained that she used both names, but after retirement, she preferred Arlene because that was the name used by close family members.
