Abstract:
The bulk of the Moreland Collection is photos dating from the late 1800s to the 1950s. They include both portraits and snapshots, including some from overseas during World War II as well as some school photos. There are also family history notes, biographical sketches, and newspaper clippings. The families were early settlers of Oregon who settled around Canby and East Portland. The most common surnames are Bird, Moreland, and Smith. The most common locations are California and Oregon.
