Abstract: The Moore collection is a compilation of personal family history research. The collection spans several decades of research material. It includes correspondence and interviews with other researchers and extended family members. Many of them completed biographical questionnaires about themselves and their families, sometimes at family reunions. Karen collected family photos, most of which were labeled with names and often dates and locations. Descendant reports and family group records are well organized and include source notes. There are copies of many primary source documents including birth, marriage and death certificates, land records, probate and pension files, and obituaries. Prominent surnames within the collection include Moore, Jeffers, Haddock, Nogle, and Hurd. The most common locations are Ohio, Oklahoma, Washington, Missouri, Idaho, Maryland, and California.
