Abstract:
The Dubal Collection contains research and photographs compiled by Jennifer Dubal. There are numerous ancestor and descendant reports that clarify the relationships among the various surnames. These often include biographical sketches about the ancestors. Of special interest is a deposition Malinda Cameron Scott Thurston describing the Mountain Meadows Massacre of 1857. Also, a journal by William Leander Willson of Attalla, Etowah County, Alabama, dated 1909-1926. The most common surnames include Brown, Butler, Dubal, Gaines, Miller, Price,Reich, and Wilson.
