Abstract: The Anderson Collection is a compilation of personal family history research. Included are correspondence from Virginia’s husband Paul Hans Anderson (dated 1968-1994), notated copies from the author’s original source materials, a travel journal with snapshots from various graveyards, marriage, census, and deed notes. Prominent surnames within the collection include Huff, Vandemark, Alderman, Seay, Leavens, Anderson, and Beatty. According to the research contained in this material, the families hailed originally from Germany and Norway before migrating to Rhode Island and New York State. The families later split, some migrating north to Canada, while others journeyed west to various parts of the central United States and eventually to Washington and Oregon.
