Abstract: Genealogical research and correspondence as collected and compiled by William Luce. The bulk of the correspondence dates from the mid-1970s to 1990. The research notes were taken from newspapers, historical publications, vital records, court documents, and census records. Some of the correspondence focuses on the Oregon pioneer Luce family. The most prominent surnames are Luce, Hallock, Buckles, Duty, and Hansen. The most common locations are Kentucky, Oregon, and Virginia.
