Abstract: 

This collection was donated to the Genealogical Forum of Oregon in the spring of 2021. The photos and other papers were found in a trunk that belonged to Henry Atkins North. Henry was the son of Joseph Hubert North (1875-1932) and Ruby Preston Goodridge (1891-1959).

The earliest family found in the collection was that of David Goodridge and Abigail Lendall. The couple and all their children were born in Massachusetts. Several children are buried there. David and Abigail left Massachusetts sometime after the 1870 census and settled in Clackamas County, Oregon, about 1879. Some records show a location of Clackamas Station or Marshfield. They are buried in the Clackamas Pioneer Cemetery.
