Portland Birth Certificates

This is an index to the Portland, Oregon Birth Certificates from 1903–1905 which were not bound and not included with the Oregon Birth Certificate books for the same period. The birth certificates are available at the GFO library, as well as the state of Oregon.

The information usually given on the certificate is the date of birth, place of birth, father’s and mother’s names, father’s and mother’s residence, father’s and mother’s birthplace, maiden name of the mother. When a birth was not filed within a year, there may be attachments that give additional family information.

  These will be emailed.
• Printed hard copies are $15 per record.
  These copies are letter-size, folded in thirds, and mailed in a business envelope.

These copies are not certified. Any attachments will be included with the certificates.
