New Home Fund

It’s Time to Control Our Future.

The GFO Board has decided to establish a fund to purchase a permanent home.

Instead of facing steady rent increases in an incredibly expensive city, we want to invest our monthly payments in GFO’s future.

We seek to raise a minimum of $500,000 for a down payment on a mortgage, the costs of renovating the new space, and moving expenses.

Our hope is to find a building, renovate it to our needs, and move in by late spring 2026.

Will you invest in a stable future for the GFO and the genealogists following in our footsteps?

Help us avoid processing fees by printing our donation form and mailing it with your check.

Matching Gifts

You may be able to double your gift through a matching gift program available through your former or current employer.  We recommend you contact your current or former employer's HR department to find out if this is an option.  For instance, Intel employees and retirees can match donations of money and volunteer time via Benevity.

If you prefer to mail in a donation,

We have raised $133,576.28 of our $500,000.00  goal.
