Using Subscription Newspaper Websites at the GFO Library

Newspapers can provide information about births, deaths, marriages, moves, business, naturalizations, court cases, and more. The GFO provides access to several newspaper subscription sites, plus additional databases. This class gives an overview of what is available and techniques to help improve your chances of finding information about your relatives.

Janice Sellers

Janice is a professional genealogist who specializes in forensic, Jewish, black and newspaper research. She has a B.A. in French with minors in Spanish and Russian, has been the editor of five genealogical periodicals, and has presented talks on genealogy and family history at local, regional, state, and national events.
