Multnomah County Estates, Wills and Guardianship Abstracts 1852-1901, 1904, 1908

The index at the bottom of this page covers the probate cases for 1852-1901 (and one each in 1904 and 1908) within Multnomah County. We have the abstracts of the probate files; the GFO does not have the originals of these probate files.  Many contain important information about relatives in other states and countries, and a few give small family charts.

Abstracts were created in the 1930s and 40s by local members of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

Included in the index are names of the deceased and their heirs, and an indication if the heir was out of the state or country.

Order a copy:

  • Digital images of abstracts: $7 per probate number and will include all pages.
    • These will be emailed.
  • Printed copies of abstracts: $15 for the first 5 pages.  50 cents per each additional page.
