A Grand Lodge of the Territory of Oregon was organized on August 16th, 1851, at the Masonic Hall in Oregon City. Our Research Library has a set of the books that contain an account of the proceedings of the annual conventions held in Oregon starting in 1851 and going through 1998. We have indexed the books containing proceedings from 1851 through 1910. Lodges from Idaho and Washington were included in the early books. Each proceedings book has an accounting of the officers and master Masons for each lodge and a list of members that were admitted, demitted, entered apprentices, died, suspended, or rejected.

We have indexed the following information contained in the proceedings: a biography, a portrait/phototype, the death of a member since the last convention, and memorial plates. A member’s name may have variations within the same book and have been noted.

Order one or more names by completing this order form. You can copy and paste the line information from the index into the order form Notes field, or type the information in from the index.  Should the person be listed more than once within the same book, there is only one charge. All name variations within the same book will be copied.

You may also order by sending the index information (Surname, Given Name, Lodge, Book Year, Page), and $5 with your email address (for digital) or $7 with your return address (for hard copy) per person to:
